§ 2-91. Generally.

(a)

This division contains the policies and procedures to establish and provide for uniform procurement within all departments of the board of county commissioners.

(b)

The provisions of this division have been compiled to provide knowledge in the pursuit of lawful purchasing practices and to assist all county departments in their procurement responsibilities.

(c)

Changes in policies and procedures pertaining to purchasing will be announced as changes to this division as they occur, and will become effective upon amendment of this division.

(d)

Any questions regarding the interpretation of county policies and procedures pertaining to purchasing should be directed to the purchasing agent.
