§ 34-56. Purpose and scope.

This article is enacted pursuant to F.S. § 401.25(6), for the purpose of providing standards and necessary regulations for the issuance of certificates of public convenience and necessity for basic and advanced life support services. This article shall apply and be in force within the incorporated and unincorporated areas of Jackson County. To the extent this article is more restrictive than the requirements of Chapter 401, Florida Statutes, or Rule 64E-2, Florida Administrative Code, the provisions of this article shall prevail.
