§ 94-32. Use of proceeds.

The proceeds of the one-cent sales surtax shall be used solely for operating expenses of the county road and bridge department, to replace an amount of proceeds from motor fuels taxes which are currently used for operating expenses of the road and bridge department. The equal amount of motor fuels tax proceeds shall be reallocated to be used solely for the repaving, reconstruction and construction of existing and new roads and bridges, and for acquisition of right-of-way. None of the reallocated motor fuels tax proceeds shall be used for the purchase of equipment or for salaries of county personnel.
