Between the months of May and September, inclusive, of each year, it shall be unlawful
for any person to, and no person shall, engage in any submerged or partially submerged
underwater activity while in possession of or equipped with any underwater breathing
apparatus, as defined in F.S. § 861.065(2), within the Blue Springs Recreation Area
between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. central time. This prohibition shall
not apply to bona fide emergency rescue operations carried on by or approved by the
county sheriff.
Diving hours may be set from time to time by the Jackson County Administrator, subject
to approval by resolution by the board of county commissioners.
